The Montana State Billings softball team hosts defending GNAC champion Saint Martin's for a pair of doubleheaders this weekend.

The Yellowjackets (9-12, 4-8) and Saints (13-13, 7-4) will play Saturday at 1 p.m. The teams will play again on Sunday, starting at noon.

Saturday's doubleheader is MSUB's "StrikeOut against Cancer" event. Fans will be able to contribute to the American Cancer Society by making a donation and picking a piece of paper that looks like a softball in the color that they wish to represent. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.

MSUB will be wearing lavender shirts representing the "StrikeOut against Cancer" game.

MSUB is led by Aubrey Conceicao, who is batting .394. She ranks second in the GNAC for both doubles and triples. Samantha Jo Everett is hitting .341, while Bella Rovens is hitting .333 and has reached base in 13 consecutive games.

Yellowjacket pitcher Mary Grace Bywater has a 3.01 ERA, while Jessyka MacDonald has struck out 37 this season.

Taviah Jenkins leads Saint Martin's with a .390 batting average, whlie Sam Munger is batting .384. Munger is also second in the GNAC with a 2.18 ERA with a 9-8 record with 66 strikeouts.
