Montana State Billings Yellowjackets

BILLINGS — Seattle Pacific used a huge third quarter to rally past Montana State Billings 66-50 Saturday night in GNAC women's basketball at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

The Yellowjackets (15-7, 8-4) had their four-game winning streak stopped. MSUB plays at No. 9-ranked Alaska Anchorage on Thursday and the University of Alaska in Fairbanks on Saturday.

The Falcons, who trailed by eight at halftime, scored the first nine points of the third quarter and outscored MSUB 28-5 in the 10 minutes. The Yellowjackets managed just one 3-pointer and two free throws.

Alisha Breen and Rylee Kane each had 13 points for MSUB. The 13 points is seven below Breen's season average.

The Yelliowjackets shot just 30 percent from the field.

Courtney Hollander led SPU with 18 points, while Erica Pagano had 15 and Jordan McPhee 11.
