The Montana State Billings baseball team celebrated its first home games of the season by pounding out 31 runs on 31 hits, sweeping Dickinson State in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday at Dehler Park.
The Yellowjackets won 14-5 and 17-1.
MSUB (9-19) returns to Great Northwest Athletic Conference play on Friday and Saturday, hosting league leader Western Oregon.
Luke Reinschmidt had three RBIs in each game. He had a two-run homer in the opener and added a single, double and triple in the second game.
Brad Birch had a bases-clearing double in the first game, while Brody Miller had two hits and scored three runs.
MSUB used six pitchers. Jake Campeau finished the game by striking out five of the six batters he faced in the last two innings.
Miller had two doubles among his four hits in the second game, along with two RBIs and three runs scored. Blake Loran, Birch and Drew Fosnes also had two RBIs each for the Yellowjackets.
MSUB scored in every inning to help five different pitchers combine on a two-hitter.
The 17 runs is a season high for the Yellowjackets.
Jordan Tescher and Austin Taft each homered for DSU (5-27).
