LARAMIE, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming men's basketball team will face a familiar foe in its opening game of the Cayman Islands Classic.
The eight-team tournament runs Nov. 20-22, with the Cowboys taking on South Dakota State on Nov. 20. Wyoming defeated the Jackrabbits at the Arena-Auditorium last season.
The winner will play the winner of the Louisiana-Iowa game the following day.
Other teams in the tournament are Richmond, Alabama-Birmingham, Buffalo and Cincinnati.
South Dakota State and Cincinnati both qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season, while Iowa and Richmond participated in the NIT. Wyoming won the CBI Classic.
