LARAMIE, Wyo. — Mikayla Ferenz scored a game-high 34 points to help Idaho defeat Wyoming 74-71 on Friday night in women's basketball.

Ferenz was 13 of 24 from the field and 5 of 5 from the free throw line. Taylor Pierce added 14 points for the Vandals, while Geraldine McCorkell had 12.

Liv Roberts paced Wyoming (6-3) with 19 points. She was one of four Cowgirls to finish in double figures. Hailey Ligocki added 17, while Marleah Campbell had 12 and Marta Gomez 11.

Wyoming travels to the University of Montana on Sunday, Dec. 18.
