Billings Senior running back Wade Cicierski will walk on to the Wyoming football team this fall.

Cicierski said he will be a preferred walk-on under new Wyoming coach Craig Bohl. He will play fullback for the Cowboys after rushing for 708 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Broncs in his first season as the starting running back.

Bohl previously coached at North Dakota State.

"I always wanted to play D-I if I ever got the opportunity to do that," Cicierski said, noting he had been in contact with the Cowboys since January. "Coach Bohl has had a long history of people who have walked on to his program.

"I'm extremely excited. It's a dream come true, really."

Cicierski, listed at 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds, joins Will Dissly of Bozeman, who is going to Washington, as Montana players to commit to FBS Division I colleges this year.
