GLENDIVE -- Remick Ramsey of Dawson Community College has been named the Most Valuable Player in the MonDak Conference for the 2012 softball season.

Ramsey, a sophomore from Great Falls CMR, batted .495 with 34 RBIs and seven home runs. She was also named an all-Region IX first team selection.

Ramsey is one of five players to earn all-conference honors for DCC, which won the MonDak regular season title with an 11-1 league record and finished 20-19 overall after a fifth-place finish in the Region IX tournament.

Sophomore pitcher/first baseman Lauren Binkoski (Billings Central), sophomore outfielder Nicole Miller (Billings Skyview), freshman third baseman Keela Nedens (Billings West) and freshman outfielder Kayla Lake (Sidney) were also named to the all-conference team.

Binkoski had a 7-0 pitching record in MonDak games, while Lake and Nedens both batted over .600 in league games.
