LINCOLN, Neb. — Taylor Mims led Washington State with nine kills, but the Cougars fell 25-13, 25-13, 25-18 to fifth-ranked Nebraska in front of 8,103 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in the second round of the NCAA volleyball tournament Saturday.
Mims, a junior from Billings Senior, finished the season with 525 kills, which is third-best in Washington State single-season history. Her 1,533 set the single-season mark at WSU.
Washington State finished the season 18-16.
