LARAMIE, Wyo. — With six players scoring eight or more points, Colorado State slipped past Wyoming 78-73 Saturday in Mountain West men's basketball.

Hayden Dalton had a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Cowboys (11-7, 2-3) while Alan Herndon also had 18 points and Justin James 16.

Wyoming shot 36 percent (18 of 50) from the field and made 31 of 42 free throws.

Che Bob led the Rams (10-9, 3-3) with 17 points, while Prentiss Nixon had 16 and J.D. Paige 14.
