Scarlets split in Spokane

Brady Muller drove in four runs and Justin Black knocked in three to help the Billings Scarlets rout the Spokane Northstars 15-0 in the Spokane-Couer d'Alene wood bat tournament Sunday in Spokane, Wash.

Earlier in the day, the Kalispell Lakers handed the Scarlets a 6-1 setback. The Scarlets play the Trail Jays of Washington in the semifinals this morning at 9 a.m.

After getting just four hits against Kalispell, the Scarlets collected 15 against the Northstars. Aleksei Grosulak, Jordan Roberts and Muller all had three hits. Roberts and Jake Dukart also each had two RBIs.
