BILLINGS — Billings West snapped a four-game losing streak on Thursday night when the Golden Bears defeated No. 4 ranked Bozeman 50-43 at the Golden Dome.

Cole DeVries led West in scoring with 13 while Carson Prokop added 11 and Jesse Owens tallied 10 points. West led from start to finish, leading by 31-12 at halftime.

The win for the Golden Bears (6-8) avenges a 75-51 loss they had at the hands of the Hawks back in January. It was the first win for West since it defeated Butte back on Jan. 19.

Robbie Simpson led Bozeman in scoring with 14 while University of Montana signee Mack Anderson added 13. Cade Tyson added eight points for the Golden Bears.
