MINOT, N.D. -- Whitney Molina of Hinsdale has signed a letter of intent to join the Minot State women’s basketball program.
Molina’s older sister, Sacarra, played 113 games for Minot State from 2009-13.
Whitney Molina averaged more than 20 points per game at Hinsdale to go along with five rebounds and four assists per game. She helped guide Hinsdale to back-to-back state tournament appearances her junior and senior seasons, earning all-state honors both years.
“We are excited that Whitney has decided to join the women’s basketball program,” said Minot State coach Sheila Green Gerding. “She has a tremendous work ethic and with that work ethic, she will work hard to develop into a good Division II basketball player. Plus she’s a great kid with great character. She will be a good addition to our team.”
