You know what's better than football? Playoff football.
AA starts its postseason on Friday, meaning all classes will be involved in state tournaments. Every win drives the stakes higher, and each team is unified by a simple, blunt truth: win, and you get to keeping playing. Lose, and...well...you get a long off-season to think about it. For the seniors involved, the playoffs can be especially bittersweet; they know each game could be the last time they get to put on their high school uniform.
This week's podcast runs a little longer than usual, but that's only because there's so much to discuss. Is there an upset lurking the first round of the AA playoffs? Central starts its playoff journey, does the week off help or hurt the Rams against Dillon? Laurel heads to Frenchtown in a really tough quarterfinal draw for both programs. And in Class B, can anyone come close to stopping the Huntley Project train?
