7:30 p.m. Update: So Huntley Project rolled again, crushing Baker 45-6, and at this point, and at this point, does that surprise anyone? Obviously, anything is possible, but I'd be very surprised if the Red Devils don't successfully defend their state title. Full story, photo gallery and video here.

6:10 p.m. Update: Good all-around day for the Rams, huh? Central volleyball defeated Hardin in four games to claim the Eastern A divisional crown, securing a no. 1 seed in the state tournament. We're working out the state pairings and will post those shortly.

And as already stated, the Rams football team overcame Dillon to ensure a trip to the state semifinals for the fourth straight year. More on the football team's successful day can be found here.

5:45 p.m. Update: All football scores are in, and all brackets are updated. Looks like some great semifinal matchups to look forward to, which team was the most impressive in the quarterfinals?

4:40 p.m. Update: For the AA football fans, the semifinals are set. Helena defeated Sentinel 26-16, meaning Skyview will head to Helena Capital to face the unbeaten Bruins. Helena advances to the semifinals as well, and will play at Great Falls CMR.

Also, divisional volleyball updates: Central is playing Hardin right now for the Eastern A divisional championship, and both teams have qualified for the state tournament. Huntley Project wrapped up the Southern B divisional tournament earlier today with a clean sweep of Red Lodge. Both teams will head to Bozeman next weekend for the Class B state tournament. Red Lodge faces Choteau at 10 a.m., and Huntley Project will take on Glasgow at 2 p.m.

Saturday, 3:50 p.m. Update: Central only put together one solid drive on offense today, but it was enough. The Rams came from behind to defeat Dillon 7-3 and advance to the state semifinals. Working on a highlight video right now, more to follow soon.

Other local scores coming in: Huntley Project rolled to a 45-6 win over Baker, and Laurel found itself on the wrong end of a shutout, losing 16-0 at Frenchtown.

10:15 p.m. Update: Final AA score is in for the night: CMR crushed Bozeman 60-21. While at the Skyview game, I heard a rumor that Bozeman was leading in this game at one point, can anyone out there confirm this? If that's true, looks like the only thing the early lead accomplished was making the Rustlers angry.

10:05 p.m. Update: Helena Capital is on its way to the semifinals. The defending champs handled Missoula Big 33-7.

Oh, and you can read more about Skyview's first round win here.

9:45 p.m. Update: Skyview defeats Glacier 28-14 to advance to the AA state semifinals. The Falcons turned three Wolfpack turnovers into three touchdowns, include two in the decisive fourth quarter. More on this game to come throughout the night.
