UPDATE: After some Twitter talk a couple of weeks ago, it was decided I needed to update this list. The original post included 68 Montana high school athletes who had signed on to play college football. We've updated the list to account for more kids, including some of those who are walking on.

Looking at the in-state college's websites, we've found a lot more players making the leap to the college gridiron. We're up to 140, and I know I'm still missing some. If you don't see somebody who should be on this list, please let me know (Note: I've received lots of emails and Twitter messages updating the list. Thanks to those who have helped out ... it's great to see this many names on the list!).

(Original post from Feb. 6) Wednesday was National Signing Day for most high school football players who will be playing college football next fall. Most of the signings followed earlier verbal commitments, so there weren't too many surprises.

The media hadn't tracked down all of the names of Montana high school football players who signed Wednesday, though. One of the ones I hadn't heard anything about was Billings West's Nate Bradley committing to the University of Montana.

I've tried to track down a list of as many of the Montana kids who signed to play college football as I could. I've checked school websites and some other media outlets and have found 68 such athletes. That's an awesome number! I'm sure I've missed some players, though, so if you know of anybody I need to add to the list, let me know by emailing me at skimmel@billingsgazette.com.
