Coach Says (boys): “Last season the team was young with only two seniors, which allowed our younger runners to gain some much needed racing experience. This experience will be valuable to the runners as the season begins. We look forward to individual success of the runners and the competitiveness of the team. The runners are competitive during practice, which is providing for some excellent workouts. This competitiveness during practice will help the team as the season progresses.”
Coach Says (girls): “We graduated five varsity runners, which helped the girls’ team to their highest finish at state last season. This means we have some spots to fill. Our seniors are showing great leadership as we begin. The potential is there for girls on the team to have a successful year. The team started by showing tremendous hard work and effort and this will benefit them as they progress through the season.”

Coach Says: “The boys team is building off of their best year ever and is bringing our top-five runners back. The girls have improved their team place at the state meet for the past three years and are looking to do so again.”

Coach Says: “Last year, both our girls and boys teams were small. However, our top runners are back and we have a couple of good runners that are moving up to the high school from the middle school. Hopefully as our program continues to improve, our numbers will go up. Many of the runners have been working hard and putting on the miles this summer. Hopefully we will see the fruits of their labor show up in their races.”
