BUTTE -- Kevin Oberweiser accounted for three touchdowns and the Red All-Stars ran away with a 72-42 victory over the Blue All-Stars in the 31st Bob Cleverley 8-Man all-star football game Saturday at Montana Tech.

Culbertson-Bainville’s Shayne Cochran started the scoring for the Red with a 51-yard run in the opening quarter. He also had a 15-yard TD scamper in the fourth. Cochran led everyone with 89 rushing yards on just seven carries.

The Blue team was led by Zeboriah Bloom of Simms, who threw a pair of TDs, one a 32-yarder to Isaiah Dunk of Power-Dutton-Brady in the first quarter, and another a 28-yarder to Broadview-Lavina’s Ian Glennie in the second.

The longest play of the day was Belt’s Holden Maki hitting Absarokee’s Braden Collins for an 81-yard touchdown for the Blue team in the second quarter. Maki finished with a game-high 290 yards passing.
