LARAMIE, Wyo. — Tyler Julian of Sheridan High School was named the 2013 Wyoming Chapter National Football Foundation High School Scholar Athlete of the Year last Saturday at the organization’s 20th annual banquet in Laramie.

Julian, who played offensive line for the Broncs, started 22 consecutive games and helped them to the Class 4A state semifinals in 2012 and 2013.

Julian, who also lettered in indoor and outdoor track, has a 3.98 grade point average, scored a 32 on his ACT, and ranks second in his class of 219 students. A two-year member of the National Honor Society, he is also the student body president.

Julian was awarded a total of $2,400 in scholarships from the Wyoming Chapter for being the “Best of the Best.”
