Noteworthy: The Broncs won the team title last season by 19 strokes over Kalispell Glacier. ... McNeil is the two-time defending State AA medalist. ... Walter placed fourth at state.

Noteworthy: Led by Flohr (6th) and Zwemke (12th), the Lady Bears finished third at state a year ago. ... Zwemke led the team with an 83.8 stroke average.
Coach Edward says: “We have a team that is as deep as any in the state. The girls worked hard over the summer and it will be fun to see if we can be in the mix at the end of the season.”
Coach: Amber Griffith, 1st season

Noteworthy: Laurel has just four players on its roster this season one year after finishing second as a team at state. … O’Neil placed fifth at the state meet as a freshman last season, nine strokes back of graduated senior Carlee Hart, who took fourth. … Griffith, in her first-year as coach, is a former All-American golfer at Rocky Mountain College.
Coach Griffith says: “The good thing about these girls is that they’re coachable. Once we get into practice and work on things we’re going to cut some strokes pretty quickly. I’m excited about the upside.”
