POLSON -- Paul Brannan, Bobby Frank and Connor Frank all had top-10 finishes to lead Sidney to the State A boys golf championship on Saturday.
Brannan finished with a two-day total of 153 at Polson Bay Golf Course to finish in fourth place. Bobby Frank recovered from an 82 on the first day to shoot 73 on Saturday and finish seventh, while Connor Frank was ninth.
Sidney shot a 639, six strokes better than Whitefish. Anaconda was third and Billings Central was fourth.
Anaconda's Jackson Wagner shot 76-70--146 to claim medalist honors, one shot better than Art Doorn of Whitefish.
Laurel's Dylan Meccage placed third and was joined in the top 10 by teammage Jake DeFresne.
Billings Central's high placer was Cam Caraveau, who finished 14th, and Glendive's Gavin McPherson was 11th.
On the girls' side, Polson had four top-10 placers and was six strokes better than Whitefish to claim the team title. Laurel was sixth and Billings Central eighth.
Erin Tabish of Whitefish shot 165 to earn medalist honors. Polson's Jaylin Kenney and Nicole Clairmont finished second and third, while Livingston's Christal Tokash was fourth and Laurel's Morgan O'Neil fifth. Madi Tucker was also in the top 15, finishing 11th.
