WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Salem College women's soccer coach has announced the signing of Sawyer Ferguson of Billings Skyview.
Ferguson, a forward, was a four-year varsity player for Skyview. She earned Class AA all-state honors and was voted the team MVP as a senior. She holds the school's single-season record for goals scored.
She is also the defending Class AA champion in the 300-meter hurdles.
Salem, an NCAA Division III program, is coming off a 15-3 season and a second-place finish in the Great South Athletic Conference. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772.
