The 55th annual Billings Invitational track and field meet is Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Billings West High School track.
There are 652 total boys and girls entered. The meet is scheduled to wrap up at 6 p.m. The entrance fee for spectators is $3 for students and $5 for adults. School District No. 2 passes will be honored.
There are 18 total teams, including representatives from all classes in Montana and five schools in Wyoming. Teams entered are the four Billings high schools, Big Horn (Wyo.), Forsyth, Great Falls, Huntley Project, Laurel, Sheridan (Wyo.), Tongue River (Wyo.), Lewistown, Colstrip, Melstone, Shepherd, Red Lodge, Casper Natrona (Wyo.) and Cody (Wyo.)
The meet will be electronically timed, so it counts as a pre-qualifying meet for state in Classes AA and A.
