PUEBLO, Colo. -- Colstrip's Gage Currier has signed a national letter of intent to wrestle at Colorado State University-Pueblo.

Currier was a three-time State B-C champion for the Colts and won this year's 120-pound title. In addition, Currier has been an All-American at the USA Wrestling Nationals tourney in Fargo, N.D.

CSU-Pueblo is an NCAA Division II school. While wrestling for the ThunderWolves, Currier will be instructed by assistant coach Chris Currier, who is his uncle. Chris Currier was a four-time state champion at Colstrip and at the 1999 national championships won a national title for the ThunderWolves.

According to coach Currier, Gage Currier will also have the opportunity for supplemental training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
