SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Eagle River, Alaska pushed across two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to claim a 6-5 win over Boulder-Arrowhead of Billings Wednesday night in the final game of pool play at the Little League Northwest Regional.

Boulder-Arrowhead will play top-seeded Lynnwood, Wash., at 7 p.m. in the late semifinal game It is scheduled to be televised on ESPN.

Alaska will play Oregon in the first semifinal at 3 p.m.

Both Billings and Idaho finished 1-3 but Boulder-Arrowhead advanced on the tie-breaker, having defeated the team from Lewiston earlier in the week.

Idaho closed out with a 15-2 win over Cody, Wyo. Cody finished 0-4 in pool play.

Johnathan Nickoloff had two RBIs for Billings, while Eric Laughlin and Brad Haynes each had two hits.

Boulder-Arrowhead opened the game with a four-run first inning and led 5-4 going into the bottom of the eighth.
