Next week's 28th annual Montana State Mid-Amateur men's golf tournament at Butte Country Club has attracted 94 entries, according to the sponsoring Montana State Golf Association.

The 54-hole event, for the state's leading amateur players age 30 and over, is set for Thursday through Saturday and will include defending champion Logan Lindholm of Kalispell.

Shawn Tucker of Whitefish, who placed third last year at Buffalo Hill, and Spencer Williams of East Helena, who was fourth, are also back.

Williams won it all in 2012, while 2010 champion Craig Hurlbert of Hamilton will also be competing next week.

So will Jim Coleman of Billings, who tied for 10th a year ago.

Entries for the tournament are closed.
