Brian Armstrong of Rocky Mountain College and the four Billings high school football coaches will be the special guests at the Midland Roundtable's first luncheon of the year Thursday, Sept. 4.

The gathering is at noon at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center and lasts approximately an hour. Ron Lebsock of Skyview, Paul Klaboe of West, Jim Stanton of Central, Chris Murdock of Senior and Armstrong will offer short updates on their teams.

Members of the public are welcome to attend. Those who want to join the Roundtable are also welcome to attend. The fee to join the Roundtable is $30 for the year. The group generally meets the first Thursday of the month at noon at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center September through June.

The Roundtable is group of men and women from Billings who support local sports at all levels. The group dates back to 1947 and the first president was now deceased legendary Rocky Mountain College coach Herb Klindt. Ryan Sauther is the current president.

Currently, the Roundtable sponsors three primary events. Those are the Athlete of the Year banquet in May, the Top 10 track meet also in May and the Montana-Wyoming All-Star basketball series in June. Roundtable members also help support the hospitality rooms, along with the Billings Chamber of Commerce and other volunteers, at Montana High School Association state tournaments in Billings.

A buffet-style lunch will be served for $10.
