Hilands Golf Club pro Eddie Kavran and Tim Moore, a teaching professional with Mitchell Golf, won the Yellowstone Chapter Pro-Pro tournament Tuesday at Hilands.
The Billings golfers finished the 54-hole event -- put on by the Rocky Mountain Section PGA -- with a 10-under 203. Tom Anderson, head pro at Laurel Golf Club, and Billy Dodson, general manager of Arrowhead Meadows Golf Course in White Sulphur Springs, were five strokes back in second at 208.
Ten teams took part, with Glenn Godfrey, head pro at Ponderosa Butte in Colstrip, and Brandon Kahl, head pro at Riverside Country Club in Bozeman, finishing third at 209.
The competition took place over two days. The format included a scramble for the first 18 holes, followed by four-ball stroke play (18 holes) and alternate shot (Chapman) the final 18 holes.
Kavran and Moore opened with a 63 on Monday to set the stage for their victory.
