ACTON -- The NHRA Northwest Division Lucas Oil Regionals are at Yellowstone Drag Strip Friday through Sunday.
It is one of six events in the Northwest Division and 44 scheduled across the country.
Top alcohol dragster, top alcohol funny car, comp eliminator, super stock, stock eliminator, super comp, super gas and super street will be racing.
Drivers will earn points leading to divisional, regional and national championships. The year-end purse is $519,000 and drivers will be competing for a share of that.
The event starts with a Gamblers Race Friday at 5:30 p.m. The gates open Friday at 8 a.m. with testing beginning at noon.
On Saturday and Sunday, gates open at 8 a.m. On Saturday, qualifying and time trials begin at 10 a.m. and racing continues throughout the day with the last qualifying beginning at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, eliminations start at 10 a.m. The top alcohol dragster and top alcohol funny car round 1 competition begins at noon.
General admission is $10 for Friday and $20 each Saturday and Sunday. A three-day pass is $45. For children 6-13, admission is $5 Friday and $10 each Saturday and Sunday or $15 for a three-day pass. Children five and under are free with a paid adult.
