Team Montana is in the process of being put together for a cultural-exchange trip to Germany this summer.

Wrestlers interested in participating must be juniors, seniors or in college and be competitive in freestyle or Greco-Roman. The maximum size of the team is 14 wrestlers. The trip is sponsored by the USAW and AAU organizations in Montana.

The date of travel is tentatively set for July 23 to August 10, but is subject to change. The cost would be approximately $2,300, most of which covers airfare and uniforms. Lodging, meals and transportation is mostly taken care of by the host families.

The team will travel to four or five different communities to wrestle different teams and experience the local culture. There will also be a freestyle camp at Billings Skyview before the team leaves for Germany.

Interested wrestlers need to make a $500 deposit. For information, contact team leader Dan Elser at 861-5033 or dan.elser@ingfp.com .
