BELGRADE -- It wasn't so easy this time for Joe Ramaker, who picked up his series-leading fifth main event victory of the season in the ASCS Frontier Region sprint car tour, having to find his way around and then hold off Phil Dietz in a spirited duel to win Friday's event at Gallatin Speedway.

With the laps winding down, Dietz had a straightaway lead over Ramaker on the 3/10-mile clay oval. But traffic played a significant role as Dietz struggled to get around a couple of cars on a heavy, fast track, allowing the driver from Boise, Idaho, to challenge.

Over the last few laps, Ramaker and the defending ASCS Frontier Region champion raced hard for the win, trading numerous passes before Ramaker was out front as they took they checkered flag. It was Ramaker's 13th victory since the start of last season aboard the Ramaker Racing No. 98 Ostrich-powered J&J.
