Hunter Saltzman scored four tries, and Abel Armitage and Weston Marsh added two each as the Rimrock Rattlesnakes rugby club defeated Gillette, Wyo., 71-0 on Saturday afternoon at South Park.

Noah Sandau, Chase Schlautmann, Jordan Webb, Matt Dennis and Cody Pearson also scored tries to lift the Rattlesnakes to the easy win. Cooper Vinton had two conversion kicks and Armitage added another.

Armitage and Shane Reid had strong defensive days, according to coach Greg Koszuta.

The Rattlesnakes, who are comprised of players from seven area high schools, are back in action next Saturday for matches against Gillette and Helena. Matches are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at South Park.
