Golf

Stott misses cut at Big I tourney

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. — Billings golfer Payton Stott missed the cut on Thursday at the 46th annual Trusted Choice Big I National Championship junior tournament at the Pete Dye Golf Club.

Stott shot scores of 83 and 86 for a 25-over-par 169 total. The cut line was at 11-over 155.

The Big I, which included 102 boys, is one of the oldest junior golf tournaments in the country. Fifty-five boys made the cut.
