Kevin Young, the world and Olympic record holder in the 400-meter hurdles, will be a special guest coach at the inaugural Big Sky Hurdles Camp to be held Sunday, March 13 at the Billings Sports Plex.

Young won the gold medal in the 400 hurdles in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona in world-record and Olympic-record time of 46.78, a record that still stands.

Young also won the 400 hurdles at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart. He was inducted to the National Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2006.

He will coach the camp along with Mary Elizabeth Aude of the Rocky Mountain Flying Panthers Track Club. Aude is a certified USATF Level 2 youth specialization coach.

The camp is for boys and girls in grades 7-12 who currently compete or are interested in any sprint or hurdles events.

All sign-ups will be done online. Visit www.coacho.com and click on Calendar.

For information, contact Aude by phone at 406-252-6217 or e-mail at aude.maryelizabeth@gmail.com; or by visiting www.rmflyingpantherstc.com on the Internet.
