The Billings Regulators 12U baseball team won first place at the Triple Crown Battle at the Fort Tournament recently held in Greeley, Colo.

The Regulators went unbeaten in pool play to earn the top seed in the single-elimination championship round. From there, they outscored their three opponents by a combined score of 34-14 including Rawlings, Colo., by 10-8 margin in the title game.

For the tournament, the Regulators went 5-0 and outscored their opponents 60-26.

The Regulators, who also took second in an April tournament in Aurora, Colo., will return to Colorado for the Triple Crown Memorial Day Classic on May 25-27 in Fort Collins.
