CODY, Wyo. - For the first time at a PRCA Xtreme Bulls event, five PRCA world champions are scheduled to ride.
The Seminole Hard Rock Xtreme Bulls Tour will close out the 90th Annual Cody Stampede on Sunday.
The event features 40 of the top bull riders competing for $50,000 and will begin at 6 p.m. All 40 will compete in the first round, with the top 12 returning for the championship round.
PRCA world champions expected to compete are Cody Hancock (2002), Matt Austin (2005), B.J. Schumacher (2006), Wesley Silcox (2007) and J.W. Harris (2008). The field also includes PRCA world standings leader Douglas Duncan, along with former Xtreme Bulls tour champions Kanin Asay and Chance Smart.
Asay, of nearby Powell, Wyo., won the event in 2007. He will be joined by fellow Wyoming riders Seth Glause, Josh Johnson and Clayton Savage.

The Cody Xtreme Bulls event will be televised on ESPN2 on July 19 at 10:30 p.m. and again on ESPN Classic on Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. and again on Oct. 4 at 10 a.m.
