CHICAGO — Defending world champion Jess Lockwood of Montana tied for seventh at the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast Series' Chicago Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

The Montana bull rider had a ride of 87.5 points in the second round and earned 105 points toward the world standings, where he is in 14th place after two tour events.

Cooper Davis of Jasper, Texas, the 2016 PBR world champ, won the title. He had his first 90-point ride of the season. In the championship round, Davis scored a 91.25-point ride atop Catfish John. 

The 25th PBR: Unleash The Beast Series next travels to Oklahoma City for the Express Employment Professional Invitational Jan. 20-21.
