BILLINGS — Three-event competitor Bo Vocu of Ashland will be among the high school athletes competing at the first performance of the PRCA NILE Rodeo.

The athletes will be showcased on Thursday, Oct. 19. The PRCA Rodeo is Oct. 19-21 with 7 p.m. performances each night.

Vocu will be competing in bareback, saddle bronc and bull riding.

The high school athletes are chosen from the Montana High School Rodeo Association and are the two leaders in each event after the fall season.

Scheduled to compete are:

Bareback: Bo Vocu, Ashland; Brice Patterson, Bozeman.

Tie-down roping: Kaden Lappe, Dell; Brody Grebe, Melstone.

Team roping: Jhet Murphy, Helena-Luke Murphy, Helena; Trey Dempewolf, Lindsay-Cathey Maclain, Hammond.

Steer wrestling: Jhet Murphy, Helena; Quentin Wheeler, Baker.

Saddle bronc: Bo Vocu, Ashland; Quentin Wheeler, Baker.

Barrel racing: Shai McDonald, Gardiner; Cheyanne Carl, Ballantine.

Bull riding: Jake Lockwood, Volborg; Bo Vocu, Ashland.
