BILLINGS —There were no lead changes during the second performance of the PRCA NILE Rodeo at Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark Friday night.

The rodeo concludes with a 7 p.m. performance on Saturday. It is Patriot Night.

Craig at Midnight, the 2016 PRCA bareback horse of the year owned by Powder River Rodeo, will be in the bareback pen.

For the second straight performance, there were no qualified bull rides. The field included reigning three-time world champion Sage Kimzey of Strong City, Oklahoma.

Tristan Hansen of Dillon scored 79 points to move into the bareback money, while Leon Fountain of New Mexico used an 81.5-point saddle bronc ride to move into the top six.

Two team roping pairs posted times for potential checks. Kyle Callaway of Belgrade and Clay Johnson, of Rozet, Wyoming, were 5.2 seconds, while Worden's Delon Parker and Ryan Zurcher of Powell, Wyoming, were 5.5.

Those entered Saturday night include 2009 world saddle bronc champion Jesse Kruse and National Finals Rodeo qualifiers Dustin Bird of Cut Bank in team roping and Garrett Smith of Rexburg, Idaho, who is second in the 2017 bull riding standings.
