Elks Hoops Shoot

LIVINGSTON -- Two girls from Big Timber were among the six youths crowned state champions at the Elks Hoops Shoot state finals last weekend.

Bailey Finn won the Girls 12-13 division, while Kameryn Ketchum won the Girls 10-11 division. Boulder's Parker Layng won the Girls 8-9 division.

The boys winners were: Will Benne (8-9) of Bozeman; Kyler Engellant (10-11) of Dillon; and Fischer Brown (12-13) of Belgrade.

The six state champions will represent Montana in the regional semifinals in Rapid City, South Dakota, on March 10. They will compete against champions from North Dakota and South Dakota.

Regional champions advance to the national finals in Chicago on April 21.
