Open House Meeting Public Discussion of Proposal to Design and Reconstruct 8 Miles of U.S. Highway 212 The Montana Department of Transportation has scheduled an open house to discuss a proposal to design and reconstruct about 8 miles of U.S. Highway 212 from north of Roberts to Boyd. The open house will be held in Roberts on Tuesday, May 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Roberts School (106 Maple Street). Project team members will be on hand to discuss the project. Proposed work includes new surfacing, shoulder widening, passing lanes, drainage improvements, and irrigation facilities. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve safety and operational characteristics of the roadway. New right-of-way and utility relocation will be required. A construction date will be determined upon completion of design, right-of-way acquisition, and availability of funds. MDT will make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities who wish to participate in this public meeting.
