The Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities recently said goodbye to member
TarraThomas of Billings. Appointed by Governor Steve Bullock in 2010,Tarra served as
a parent advocate representing Billings and south eastern Montana. Tarra completed
her termed appointment on December 31, 2022. Over the course of her tenure on the
CouncilTarra served in a number of leadership positions on task forces, committees
and as Council Chair. Her dedication to ensuring quality services for persons with
intellectual and developmental disabilities lead her every action on the Council. She will
be missed and the Council thanks her for her years of service.
The Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities is located in Helena and makes up
one-third of the federal developmental disabilities network in Montana.
