Gregg Ceaser, David Kelley and Veronica Kuzma, financial consultants in RBC Dain Rauscher's Billings office, were recently named to the firm's President's Council. Rev. Michael Obenauer, Billings, has been appointed to the Intermountain Children's Home and Services Board of Directors. Obenauer is the associate conference minister of the Montana-Northern Wyoming Conference, of the United Church of Christ. He has served as a pastor and teacher in the United Church of Christ setting for 27 years.

Jack Auzqui has been promoted to senior vice president and manager of the new Indirect Buy Center at First Interstate Bank. Auzqui transferred from the Casper, Wyo., branch, where he held a similar position for 18 years.
Melanie Good has been promoted to loan officer at First Interstate Bank's Indirect Buy Center. Good transferred to the Indirect Buy Center from the credit card division, and previously worked at the downtown Billings branch for 10 years in underwriting and collections.
Elli Skiles has been promoted to loan officer at First Interstate Bank's Indirect Buy Center. Skiles joined the Indirect Buy Center in September. She previously held management positions with TranSouth Financial and Autoville USA in Columbus, Ohio.
Jan Longen has been promoted to loan officer at First Interstate Bank's Indirect Buy Center. Longen joined the Indirect Buy Center in September after 21 years with Billings Ford Motor Credit as dealer services supervisor.
Sharon Hansen has been promoted to loan officer at First Interstate Bank's Indirect Buy Center. Hanson joined the Indirect Buy Center in August after holding similar positions over the past 14 years with Wells Fargo Bank and Norwest Bank.
David Ruff has relocated from Casper to join First Interstate Bank's Indirect Buy Center as a loan officer. He held a similar position at First Interstate's Casper branch for eight years.
Janice Jensen has been promoted to assistant vice president at First Interstate Bank's Indirect Buy Center. Jensen, the Billings market sales representative, joined First Interstate in August, after holding a similar position with GMAC for 18 years.
Terry Riley of Billings recently earned top honors for lia sophia's Excellent Beginnings Program Achievers. Riley has earned this accomplishment in her first 15 weeks by attaining certain sales levels and by sharing lia sophia with other new advisors.
Clark and Rachel Marten of Clark Marten Photography of Columbus recently taught at the 12th Annual convention of "Senior Photographers International," held in St. Petersberg, Fla., in January. The Martens spoke on keeping up to date on the latest trends in photographing high school seniors.

The American Association of Collegiate Registrar's and Admissions Officers President-elect has named Montana Tech Registrar Ed Johnson as program committee chair for the organization's 2006 annual meeting, to be held in San Diego. Johnson is currently a three-year member of the AACRAO Annual Program Committee, and served previously as Chair and Member of the Small College Issues Committee, and as a delegate to the AACRAO Small College Summit, held in Washington, D.C., in 2000.
Additionally, Johnson is one of 14 AACRAO members to be nominated for a position on the 2005-2006 AACRAO Nominations & Elections Committee. The Nominations & Elections Committee selects those AACRAO members who will lead the organization into the future.

Reese Puckett of Puckett Tax & Insurance, in Flaxville, has been chosen by John Deere Risk Protection, as the managing general agent of crop insurance for Westfield Insurance, as an authorized crop insurance representative. As part of a select group of agents, Puckett will provide federally reinsured crop insurance to local growers starting with the spring 2005 season. Puckett has served producers with risk management and crop insurance solutions for 23 years and is a member of the National Association of Crop Insurance Agents.
In November, Puckett attended a national conference sponsored by John Deere Risk Protection. Held in Johnston, Iowa, this four-day seminar focused on strategies to help producers fully utilize risk management tools and technology, and featured sessions with USDA officials, risk management technology experts, economic advisors and growers.
Dr. Michael W. Stuart and Dental Team, of Billings, have returned from attending Dental Boot Kamp in Louisville, Ky. The three-day course educates dentist and their dental team members on the most effective ways to assess and be sensitive to the needs and wants of patients. Jennifer Jeanotte has joined the staff of TLC Laser Eye Centers-Billings as an ophthalmic rechnician. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Montana State University and two years of experience in direct patient care. Jeanotte is also a sales consultant and district manager for Arbonne International, a nutrition and skin care products company. At TLC, Jeanotte will perform ophthalmic testing on laser vision correction candidates, calibrate and program the VISX S4 laser, as well as assist in refractive surgical procedures.

SCORE is a national organization of business executives who volunteer their time and expertise to assist persons who wish to start a new business or upgrade an existing one. The organization is sponsored by the Small Business Administration and has more than 3,000 chapters nationally. There are nine chapters in Montana. Tony Smith of Tony Smith Photography recently received the Photographer of the Year Award from the Professional Photographers of America at the national convention held in New Orleans. All four images submitted received merits and were accepted into the Imaging USA Photographic Exhibition. Smith also represented the State of Montana as its PPA councilor at the annual meeting.
The Society for Range Management has elected Dennis Phillippi of Bozeman to second vice-president of the Society. He will become president of SRM in February 2007. Phillippi is senior consultant and president of Natural Resource Options in Bozeman.

A graduate of the School of Engineering at Montana State University, Rittal received the degree of bachelor's of science in civil engineering in 2004. Rittal passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in April of 2004 and will begin work toward becoming licensed as a professional engineer. Rittal has worked as a Survey Party Chief and Construction Inspector in Bozeman during the past few summers and will join Engineering, Inc.'s Bozeman office to assist with field operations and residential and commercial site civil development.

Capser graduated in 2004 from the School of Engineering at Montana State University, with a bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering.
