The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) has confirmed Thomas A. Grau, CPCU as the association's president-elect. Grau, a sales executive with Payne Financial Group in Billings, was elected to the executive committee in September 1999. Grau will be sworn in as president-elect during the closing general session Sept. 24, and with approval of the membership will ascend to the presidency in 2004.

 

Vicki Seedhouse, FIC, of Laurel, a financial associate with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans' North Rocky Regional Financial Office, has been named to the Million Dollar Round Table.

 

Maggie Schieno has joined the Renaissance Salon, 2406 Broadwater Ave. She specializes in colors, highlights, formal and wedding styling, cutting and facial waxing.

Jamie Kuykendall recently joined the Montana General Office of New York Life Insurance Company as an agent. The Montana General Office covers all of Montana and northeast Wyoming.

 

Lyle Seavy, MS, LCPC, vice president of Residential Services of Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, is the honored recipient of the Fellow Award by the American Association of Children's Residential Centers.

 

Gregg Ceaser, a first vice president - financial consultant, Consulting Group, in RBC Dain Rauscher's Billings office, was recently selected to be a member of the firm's 2003 Consulting Group.

As a member of the Consulting Group, Ceaser receives additional marketing support, assistance with professional development and access to supplementary advisory resources.

 

Big Sky Economic Development Authority's Procurement Technical Assistance Center Director Maureen Jewell was recently elected president of the national Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers. Jewell will serve one year as president elect of APTAC, one year as president and one final year as immediate past president.

 

Laurie Claxton from the Career Center has been nominated as Billings Classified Employees Association Education Support Professional of the month.

 

U.S. Bank recently recognized William Gottwals for winning its "Pinnacle Award" for the fourth quarter of 2002. Gottwals is the bank's senior commercial lender in Billings.

 

Nicholas Aluia has joined the staff of ADAM Associates Advertising and Marketing as a graphic designer. He previously held graphic design positions with Sabre-Technologies of Savannah, Ga., and Classic Companies of Troy, Mich.

Renita Weidler, a mammogram technologist, has joined the Billing Breast Center at Deaconess Billings Clinic. Weidler has 15 years of mammography experience, and was previously at the St. Vincent Women's Center.

 

Bonnie Koch has recently joined Bradford Roof Management as the accounting manager. Koch was previously a resource financial accountant with Stimson Lumber Co.

Jim Harris has joined Bradford Roof Management to manage the service department. He has experience with the repair, service and maintenance of commercial and residential roofing systems. Harris can be reached at 698-7663.

 

Bruce Parker has been appointed as senior vice president and Banking Group manager for First Interstate Bank-Billings. Parker will oversee consumer, agricultural, commercial and real estate lending for First Interstate's downtown office.

Carol Willis has joined First Interstate Bank's West Billings branch, 2501 Central Ave., as vice president, Commercial Lending.

Kristi Summers has joined First Interstate's downtown branch as vice president and commercial loan officer.

 

Chris Dorr, a longtime volunteer at Rocky Mountain College, was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from RMC. Dorr has a long history of volunteerism in Billings. She created the Angel Fund, which raised more than $100,000 to help many School District 2 students meet their basic financial needs for clothing, hygiene products, tests, activity fees, bus passes, and other items, as well as serving as a volunteer for many local organizations. She was a 2002 YWCA Salute to Women honoree.

 

Yvette Olson, mortgage consultant at Intermountain Mortgage, has advanced her expertise in home financing by specializing in homes with large acreage. Olson will be largely responsible for financing the rural home and part-time farm loans, at Intermountain. Olson will also continue to service refinances, conventional and FHA home loans.

Connie Lough has joined Intermountain Mortgage as the assistant to the CFO. Lough is responsible for accounts payable and reconcile loan accounts. She was previously with Connect Telephone & Computer Group.

 

Russell Stevenson has joined MH Computers' technology group as a computer technician. In his new position, Stevens will be responsible for all I.T. issues and the Information Systems field.

 

Allan Murphy recently joined Stockman Bank as vice president-private banking manager for Billings. Murphy, who has over 30 years of banking experience, is responsible for marketing traditional bank loans and deposit services and providing ongoing service to an assigned portfolio of clients.
