Allyn Calton has been promoted to marketing manager for The Billings Gazette. She is responsible for creating integrated market development strategies, brand management and special project promotions. She is also the editor of Magic magazine, The Gazette's quarterly publication that made its debut in May.
Previously, Calton was senior marketing and research coordinator for The Gazette. She has also worked as an analyst for a publicly traded company and as a planner for the city of Helena.
Calton is a Montana native and holds a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in finance, and a master's degree in public relations. In addition to her position with The Gazette, Calton is a part-time instructor for the College of Arts & Sciences at MSU-Billings.

Montana Rail Link has announced that Dennis Greenwalt, a carman from the mechanical department in Laurel, has been nationally recognized for outstanding achievements in safety. Greenwalt received the Harold F. Hammond Award from the Association of American Railroads and Safety Person of the Year Award from the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association.
Dr. Leonard Bauer, MD, has joined the staff of the Ashland Community Health Center and will begin providing full-time patient care in early August. Bauer currently serves as chief medical officer and emergency room director at the Northern Cheyenne IHS Service Unit in Lame Deer.
Paula Ruddock has joined the Billings-based Intermountain Mortgage as a mortgage consultant, at its West End office. She was previously the assistant manager of Rimrock Credit Union.
Heather Tanous has joined Intermountain Mortgage as a secondary marketing associate. In her new position, Tanous will be responsible for locking rates, daily input of rates, knowledge of pricing changes and specialty pricing.
