Crews have begun work on a new 40-acre subdivision at the northwest corner of Zimmerman Trail and Grand Avenue, which will include a Town Pump convenience store.
The subdivision, Home Place, is owned by Billings Opportunities LLC and will be built by CMG Construction. Part of the subdivision project will include civil and site construction for Green Valley Drive and an extension of Avenue F, both of which will also be handled by CMG.
First to go up will be Town Pump, which is a joint project between CMG and Fisher Construction. Work on the 16,000-square-foot store began in August.
It'll be the second Town Pump on that stretch of Grand; the company has a convenience store on the northeast corner of Grand and Shiloh. Town Pump owns and operates more than 200 locations in Montana and Idaho, including gas stations, convenience stores, casinos, hotels and car washes.
Fisher and CMG Construction have a history of working together. The two companies helped build the new 911 Center in downtown Billings. They also did the work for Atonement Lutheran Church, Elysian School, and the Billings Clinic Beartooth Hospital in Red Lodge.
