Dr. Roxanne Fahrenwald, Senior Vice President of Education Integration at RiverStone Health, was recently appointed to the Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary Community Based Linkages. Dr. Fahrenwald earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She was nominated by the National Association of Community Health Centers.
The advisory committee is a federal committee within the Health Resources & Services Administration that advises the Secretary of Health and Human Services on policy and program development supporting the training of health professionals. The focus is on developing training programs to meet the primary health care needs of individuals and to improve public health to reduce health disparities in rural and urban underserved regions.
