Todd Koepp, a pharmacist at St. Vincent Healthcare, recently received the Bowl of Hygeia Award from the Montana Pharmacy Association. Koepp was recognized during the association’s annual award banquet at Big Sky Resort by Rory Johnson, MPA chair.
The award is presented annually by participating pharmacy associations in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the 10 Canadian provinces. The recipients are selected by their respective associations for their outstanding record of community service.
Koepp has worked at St. Vincent Healthcare for more than 40 years as a staff pharmacist, a team leader, a supervisor and an operations manager. In addition to attending to daily issues, he has led numerous construction projects, reviewed safety events and developed the orientation and training of every pharmacy technician and intern.
His volunteer work includes having served on the Institutional Review Board and assisting with bookkeeping and memorial services for The Compassionate Friends. Koepp is an active member of his church leadership team, serving as the Head of the Property Committee and has volunteered with St. John’s Ministries and Habitat for Humanity. He is a past president of the Montana Pharmacy Association (formerly the Montana Society of Health-System Pharmacists.)
