Lockwood Fire Department Captain/Paramedic Karim Eshbaugh, and Engineer/Paramedic Ryan Staley recently completed the International Association of Fire Chiefs Company Officer Leadership course, a course taught only at select sites throughout the country.

The completion of the course, which takes from two to three years, certifies Captain Eshbaugh and Engineer Staley nationally as having completed all the necessary requirements to be recognized as Company Officers in the Fire Service. The certification carries recognition in all 50 states.

Both members of Lockwood Fire District 8 traveled to Dallas and Colorado twice to complete their studies.
