Tribal Leaders Council has hired Gary Neumann, an enrolled member of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Indian Nation, to serve as the new project manager of the Rocky Mountain Tribal Access to Recovery III program, which provides vouchers to people with drug and alcohol problems to pay for needed treatment and recovery support services.
Neumann has more than 24 years of progressive experience in prevention and human resource development. He has worked with a variety of tribal, state and federal agencies on program design, implementation and evaluation focusing on at-risk youth, their families and communities. Neumann has extensive expertise in working with national, state and local organizations, underserved populations and communities with a special focus on Native American communities in identifying and providing culturally sensitive and appropriate services ranging from AOD prevention, economical asset building and recovery services.
