Trevor Zuroff recently joined Home Science Tools as a product development manager. In his role, Zuroff develops and evaluates new products, improves existing products, creates product strategies and road maps, and ensures processes are functional and supportive of Home Science Tools’ mission, quality standards and growth goals. Zuroff supports acceleration of the company’s innovation pipeline, overseeing new product development and management that aligns with the company’s mission of providing quality hands-on tools that meet customer-centric needs in the science education market.
Prior to joining Home Science Tools, Zuroff managed technology projects, including engine oil innovation programs and biofuel/biochemical process development, at Royal Dutch Shell. He also provided instruction in science and engineering to university-level and K-12 students, and has been published in various peer-reviewed journals. Zuroff holds a doctorate in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Zuroff’s appointment follows Home Science Tools’ recent efforts for accelerated growth in the sector, including a $1.8 million-dollar renovation to double office and warehouse space, and hiring of three new key employees since 2016.
